Hi I m from Chennai I got married on 2016 now my husband and there family members are torturing me to give more dowry or they will do second marriage for my husband. Pls I have 11 months baby. Now they send to my family I m not with my husband. I can't go to police complaint they are rich family they blackmailing me that we will kill u. Pls help me my son needs father and i need my husband.
File a case aganist your husband and in laws for harassment and torture under the provisions of Domestic violence act in Judicial magistrate court at your area. You will get remady. As per this act you are entitled for the shared house where you leaved after your marriage. Don't worry. Even if they are reach, if your claim is true, you will get justice.

You can file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights in the Family Court. The Court will do counselling and advice your husband to treat you well. You can even ask for mediation. The Mediator can advice the husband and his family members.
