What to do in case of domestic violence and harassment from husband

Hi... I have been married for 12 years and have been going through extreme domestic and verbal abuse.My father in law supports my husband and always holds me responsible for everything.I have an eight year old kid who has seen so much of physical violence.I feel insecure and cannot allow my daughter and myself to go through this anymore. Please help.
Please consult an advocate and file a petition for divorce if you really need divorce and if you are phasing physical harassment you can lodge a complaint against your father in law and also against your husband
