What to do if I cannot find my bike where I had parked it ?

I run out of petrol and parked bike locked near to our locality... I went away to my home town came back no motorcycle... How to find if bike is impounded or stolen? If I report FIR should I mention that I left it due to petrol being finished or should I mention it got stolen and if stolen when should I mention the date.

You should file an FIR for theft and should mentioned the correct information for better services from the local police station where you had parked your bike. Giving false information to police is also a crime. You should help police with correct information.

First you should check with the local police authorities of that area to see whether the bike is impounded there or not. If not, then you may file a complaint with the local police specifically mentioning the fact like where you parked it, or from where you believe it has been picked up. Kind regards,
