Hi
First apply for bail in the nearest district court at Kerala.
the offense is also compoundable and you can compromise with the owner who lost his goods and get the person released from the offense once and for all.

Engage a counsel from Kerala, who knows kerala language spoken and written in that region. The advocate would take caree of your interest, and defend him. No need to worry. In every case you have to take assistance of a lawyer even if you know the language
