In the state of Uttar Pradesh there is no provision for Anticipatory Bail, however a Petition can be filed under section 226 and 482 of CrPC before the high court. The charges for the same varies from lawyer to lawyer.

Dear
Under Indian criminal law, there is a provision for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code. ... This provision allows a person to seek bail in anticipation of an arrest on accusation of having committed a non-bailable offence in the prescribed format in the Sessions Court or the High Court according to the nature of the alleged crime. However if the case is registered in Uttar Pradesh, this provision has been omitted.

Hello,

One the FIR has been file and you anticipate arrest under section 438 you can apply for anticipatory bail in the lower court. Rate of filing the anticipatory bail depends from lawyer to lawyer and case to case.
