What is the procedure for filing FIR

while driving a person took his car straight in front of me and after that beated me. I have Medical Legal Report. But police is taking no action against him. So can this matter can be proceeded to lodge the FIR through court. If yes what is the complete procedure during lodging the FIR and afterwards.

If that is so and police is denying lodging FIR the we should complaint in court u/s 200 ( Ishtgasa) then court will order police to lodge FIR. Meanwhile u should submit application in SP office. Feel free to contact me.

To register a FIR under section 154 of CrPC in case of a cognizable offence, you will have to provide proper details of the offence as to whether it is a cognizable offence or not. If it is a non-cognizable offence then, you will have file a complaint under section 155 of CrPC.
