Action drop usually refers to FIR closed for lack of evidence. The police will file a charge sheet in the court saying there is no evidence to prosecute the accused and the court upon taking cognizance will close the same. Unless the de facto complainant files a protest petition. However if you must get the exact details share the copy of FIR.

HI Action drop means the police have not filed a charge sheet and then cancelled the FIR. Police will then submit the reasons for cancellation of FIR to the court and then take court permission to cancel the FIR.

Hello, This means due to lack of evidence from the complainant's side, the police is not proceeding with the case any further and they are not taking any action against you. Soon, the police may file closure report in the court and based on that, the charges against you will be dropped. Feel free to contact me if you need further clarification.
