What is the procedure after filing a criminal complaint with Police

hi i am manoj rawat and i have appoint a advocate and i submitted a case to advocate and he submitted the case by me in police station so i wanna know that who will cordinate the regarding the case. advocate or me

If ur complaint makes out a cognizable case the police will register FIR & start investigation & arrest the accused & after completing the investigation submit charge sheet if ur case is found true & if not submit Final report in the court but during the investigation u r to cooperate the police iinvestigation. advocate is not to go with police as he is meant for court in law.more over u have not disclosed nature of ur case.

Complaint be followed by procedure of 156 Cr P.C.. case to be filed before court and court will be direct to station house officer to register the case and u can also appear before the court n see the hearing
