What implications does a criminal case have on a government employee

If a Hindu government employee fails to clear the outstanding maintenance dues (125 CrPC) to his divorced wife and consequently if the judge orders one month or two months of imprisonment to him, what will be it's effect to his Job.

Hello Sir, The impact on arrest of government employee is that if an employee is arrested and detained in jail more than 24 hours, his services will be suspended. That suspension you have to face.

If a Govt employee arrested or convicted his employment will be suspended and necessary departmental action will be initiated. Judge may attach salary towards maintenance. Your assets will be attached. if required. Do not go in wrong route.
