Sentenced in POCSO by session court for 5 years and 10k rs looking further for bail by Mumbai high court pls suggest next step/advocate..

Since you have been sentenced in Pocso by session court for 5 years, now the next step is seeking suspension of sentence and bail in High Court and then High court will consider your matter on merits and decide the bail application.

You should immediately file a Criminal Appeal before the Bombay High Court with an application for suspension of sentence and bail under Section 430 BNSS (earlier Section 389 CrPC). Bail depends on the case facts and merits.

You can engage an advocate who has specialised in POCSO cases and has excellent success rate in these kinds of cases.. after filing an appeal before the Hon'ble High Court, an application for suspension of sentence pending the final disposal of appeal is to be filed in order to get the bail in said matter..!
