Two people killed each other in village father accused as accomplice

Well the story is..There happened a murder of two people in my village around two years back.Both were shot by gun in which one of then died at the spot and the other got injured, later died in the hospital.He in his statement to Police added the name of my father as accomplice(present during the incident) along with main murderers, despite the fact he was not even in the village.He was with us and we were celebrating Navratra when the incident took place.Even my whole family doesn't stays in that village from last 11 years.We are just guest visitors to that village. Please give me some advice how to take this case forward.The court has declined the bail.And also does it matters if the main accused is our relative? Thank You
