30-Jun-2025 (In Criminal Law)
On year 2015 I was working part time with two job consultancies. But they faked few candidates by handing over them fake job appintment letter. One of the job candidate lodged an F.I. R for same offence in both Baruipur court because my house adress is in Baruipur and in Bidhannagar cyber ps because Office situated in Bidhannagar. Baruipur ipc -420,468,34. Bidhannagar ipc-419,420,468,470,120b.First FIR lodged in Baruipur but arrest done by Bidhannagar cyber ps. Office owner closed office but ultimately two of them arresred. After 40 days all accused got bail. Chargesheet filed on 2017.Now I want to merge both case in same court. How can I get rid from this case. How much possibilities of aquiting in this case. Please advice me.

You are facing parallel FIRs and charges under serious IPC sections like 420, 468, 471, 120B etc. from two different jurisdictions. Since both cases stem from the same cause of action, you may file a petition under Section 186 CrPC or seek relief under Section 482 CrPC before the High Court to consolidate/transfer one case to the other jurisdiction for joint trial. If you were merely a part-time worker with no role in generating or handing over fake appointment letters, your lack of mens rea (criminal intent) can form the basis of defense. For acquittal, everything depends on evidence, your specific role, and whether you acted under directions or knowingly participated. These cases are defensible with proper strategy, especially if charge-sheet lacks concrete proof of your intent. Since merging and quashing require strong legal groundwork, I strongly advise a detailed consultation so I can guide you step-by-step and help you protect your future.
