Took 10 lakhs for stocks promised 7% returns did not give

Took 10 lakhs for stocks promised 7 to 10% returns per month. Been 3 years did not give returns nor money. We have cheque and agreement. Now he and his wife complained on us stating we are blackmailing them stating will post stuff on Facebook. Pl assist

you can approach the police and can file complaint against them for cheating and fraud even you can proceed with honouring the cheque, if it's dishonoured you can proceed with cheque dishonour before stepping into action approach advocate and explain each event and get complaint drafted as per the legal requirements also cheque dishonour case involves lot of legal procedures don't present the cheque without proper advise otherwise you might face difficulties in trial and opposite have good chances to escape from liability.

hi as yiu asked inthe above matter have to see agreement and cheque dates whether it is the limitation period or not. if post dated cheque given to yoh then you supposed to submit on date for clearance.
