To ask for legal advice as I faced physical abuse by a cop.

Can a cop slap you for apparently for no reason? He said i don't know how to talk and he slapped me so hard. there were around 8 cops around me at around 3 am, i was all alone, they snatched my phone from my hand, i was so scared and intimidated by them. then they took me to station for verification even though all my documents were there. I'm not able to focus on any work, the incident took place last night. Id be really kind if someone can advice me.

The issue is very serious and should be reported to the higher authorities through a written complaint to the DCP concerned with a copy to the commissioner for criminal intimidation, assault etc You should file it by taking a help from an expert lawyer and try to get the FIR registered

any policemen is not empowerd by law to inflict any injury upon anyone. you could complaint against him to the DCP concerned of your area. he will take care of your case and if he even after reviewing your complaint did not take appropriate action you could approach to the magistrate for appropriate action against such policemen.

hello mam as you have narated the things qhich happen to you is not at all correct in any manner these things are agaisnt the human rights as wwll as against the polife laws as in this matter well . in this matter you need to take urgent action from the help of high court so an immidiTe action can be taken against all tge polifw officials.
