Threatening and blackmailing issue

My friend was in an eight relationship with a girl, and they brokeup. Suddenly after 5 months of breakup she contacted him again saying that lets just be friends.But when suddenly she comes to know about another relationship of him with other person she started threatening him that she is going to kill herself if he is not going to marry her and started threatening other girl too .She keeps on blackmailing by saying that she had sex with him in the past and she is only going to marry him only.

As per the law if you are using the girl and molesting her then it is crime under Indian Law, but if your chatting with girl only then it is not crime subject to how you are dropping word during chat. Feel free then call for more legal word.
