Threat to kids to stop playing in society compound .

Hello,
A group of few people are threatening the kids parents to stop playing the kids ( 5 to 10 years kids ) in the society compound . They are abusing and threatening kids as well . Can legally they threaten children’s to stop playing the open area. ? What action kids parent can take in this regard.
No they can’t threaten the kids and the parents as well.
The first and most important step you can take is complain against them to the society secretary and committee members and further you can ask the police for the help.

Before taking any action you must check your society bye laws for any restriction on playing certain games inside the society. under model bye laws of society issued by the Government, Bye Law no. 168 gives power to the general body to put restrictions on playing games in the society.
But, irrespective of the general body resolution, you may approach the police authorities for filing complaint against such persons who are abusing the children.

They can take a legal action against the people who are trying to threaten the children, and if the area is public and have been maintained as a playing area then children can play, and if they are trying to threaten thn strict action can be taken against them

Not at all, they cant even stop the kids, threatening is far beyond imagination.
It’s fundamental rights of kids and will fall under Article 19 and 21.
Strict criminal action can be taken if proven.
