Son of a deceased SB account holder denies for withdrawal of money from their father's account after his death. AC holder died at age of 75 after withdrawing money from his account by withdrawal slip. May the legal heir or his son claim for such payment after father's death.

Yes,the legal heir are entitled to operate the bank account of deceased. In this regard it is relevant to note that a succession certificate is required in case of death of deceased interstate. In this view it is advisable that first obtain the succession certificate from competent authorities then operate the bank account of deceased.
