Someone from Delhi harassing father for money want to file a complaint

Dear sir, One person who resides from up but living in Delhi has been continuously calling my father who is a senior citizen and haressing him for money and many other things. He is continusly calling even at odd hours at midnight. My father reides in different place in west Bengal. Request you to please suggest as to where to lodge an FIR . the only problem is my father is a senior citizen and i am residing out of the country. I want to know wether we can lodge an FIR in Delhi and what are other options available. Regards
you should immidiately lodge a complaint woth the delhi police and ypu can obtain prders from court against the person so that he does not bother your father and you can even grt protect and restraint order against him

FIR can be lodged in west Bengal and there is no need to lodge a FIR in Delhi. Offence will be regarded to have been committed in west Bengal.complaint can also be sent by speed post to SHO of concerned police station as well as to SP of the city/ district where complainant resides.

Yes of course you can always file an fIR in Delhi if your father is residing in Delhi . If you know his name and address then clearly mention in the complaint otherwise file an fir against a stranger and also mention the number from which you are getting calls.
