Sexual Harassment By Landlord..

In Dec 2024, I was sexually harassed by my landlord. I went to the police station and filed a complaint, but I was manipulated into taking it back. They made me sign a statement saying I didn’t want to file an FIR, and got the landlord to write he wouldn’t harass me or ask me to vacate. Two months later, he again started pressuring me to increase rent and vacate the room. I stayed. Now I want to file an FIR for the harassment in Dec. I wasn’t emotionally ready then, but I am now. I went to multiple police stations, but they questioned why I didn’t act earlier and said I should’ve fought then. But I want to fight now. I also have proof of what he did. I want justice and compensation. My question is: since I filed and withdrew the complaint earlier, can I still take action now? I am planning to send him compensation notice Nd if it dsn't work out, plnning to send letter to dcp, police is pressurizing me to inform my family but I dn't want, I stay alone in gurgaon, my family stys in gwl.

well you can file police complaint again. for each cause of action you can file separate complaint can be made online ,to police station, sp, you can also file complaint before magistrate or women police station or you can leave the place of shift somewhere else. multiple options.

You can file a police complaint highlighting the incidents that have happened. The same can also be filed with Commissioner of Police, Gurgaon. It is near Rajiv Chowk. Let me know if any assistance is required
