You need to file a complaint against the said person, first in your local Police Station, then before the Ld. Magistrate Court. A strong complaint is needed to be submitted in the police station, in which we can help you. If the police are not keen to lodge an FIR, at least request them to take a G.D. and provide you the G.D. Number. Thereafter, one strong letter is needed to be given to the S.P. stating the inaction of police. Then one Application u/sec 156(3) can be submitted before the Ld. Magistrate court asking for a direction from the Magistrate to the police asking it to treat your application as an F.I.R. and the Magistrate court will also direct the police to start an investigation against the said person. Also, you can directly go to Magistrate court and file a private complaint against the said person where the onus will be on you to provide all the evidence.
