Second hand Mobile phone purchased from online turned up as stolen

09-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Hi One Mobile device was purchased through online website OLX and was being used for over a year... Now some police officer called up saying the device you have is Traced and its Reported Stolen in thier records and asking me to Come to his Chowki. I said it was purchased but since thwre is no invoice or any proof of purchase he says i will be taken under section 411 if not go to his place. Now pls guide... What are my options as i was unaware that device was a stolen one and how do i recall who he was after so many months...? Since its just a call from Police should i alone go and meet him... Or should i wait for summons to come and then visit chowki with a lawyer?

better to visit with a lawyer to the police station and and co-operate with the investigation so that no harm will be caused to you be prepared with like chat your call records with that person who has sold you the mobile, other document
