Sale of Bike - RC Not Transferred

24-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Please note I sold my bike to an unknown person three months back and executed Sale Agreement on Stamp Paper of Rs. 100 and notarized it, the purchaser has not yet transferred the RC on his name. I am following up with the purchaser from three months but every time he gives excuses only. I filled an complaint online on https://citizen.mahapolice.gov.in 10 days back but no actions has been taken and the status of the complaint is showing that the "Enquiry Completed". Please advise.

Well, you may go in big trouble, if the RC doesn't get transferred. Everytime, the person in whose possession your bike is, uses it for any unlawful activity or commits any accident from it & escapes from the scene, then, you will also be held liable for allowing him to use that vehicle for illegal purpose without transferring RC on his name & being the owner of the Bike.
