Request for Urgent Help Regarding Harassment and Safety Issue

Our downstairs neighbour (50 M) has been harassing us since Sept 2025—stalking me (Unmarried 25, Communication Trainer ), mocking, singing vulgar songs, using filthy language, damaging our vehicles, and fixing a CCTV towards our balcony. On Feb 2, before a large crowd, he abused us while drunk and threatened to gather people to attack us. Though police warned him, he continues.

The acts described amount to serious criminal offences. Continuous stalking, verbal abuse, vulgar behaviour and threats attract offences under IPC Sections 354D (stalking), 294 (obscene acts), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (insult to modesty of a woman). Fixing CCTV towards your private balcony may also amount to violation of privacy. Since police warning has failed, you may file a written complaint seeking FIR, approach the Women Police Station, and also seek a restraining order/injunction from court. Preserve evidence such as videos, witness statements, CCTV angles and call records. Repeated conduct strengthens your case for strict legal action.

File a criminal complaint before the police station, if they didn't register FIR file a complaint before the SP and even after that FIR is not registered you can seek for FIR direction before the magistrate court or file a private complaint before the magistrate. feel free to contact for any legal advice.
