Registration of FIR U/S 504, 506, 447 etc By Police On the Directions

24-Jan-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Just want to know Can Police file FIR against an accused under the sections of Non Cognizable Offence where the allegations are proved by evidences and the accused is continuously doing the same offences. I filed several complaint against a criminal minded man but police officials are saying that the offences mentioned comes under the category of Non Cognizable. Is it necessary to file a Request to Court for registration of FIR of Non Cognizable offences. If we approach the SSP police with the same request, then is it possible to register an FIR for the Non Cognizable offences. Please advise

Once police has opined that offences committed by accused is of non cognizable nature, they will never registered FIR on those facts. Why dependency on police, who is absolutely corrupt, why not filing complaint case straightway in criminal court under section 200 crpc, if you have witnesses and evidence is in your control.

hello client in your matter as your are stating facts it seems tht police is not at all. willing to take action against the person for whom ur willing to register a FIR. in this matter police will not do anything as they are not willing to register FIR in these sections so you are having 2 options as one ia with district court and 2nd option is with high court then only your pourpose will get solve .
