Regarding sharing fake news on website

Sir. I am arrested for forgery for sharing fake news on my website. Bt i received that news from whatsapp group and I don't know that news was fake . How to defend myself in court. I already get bail from police station.
Please elaborate your query as to under what provisions an FIR has been registered against you for sharing the fake information on the website since it cannot constitute an offence of Forgery. Details would be required

As per your information , the offence of forgery is not made out. Forgery as defined in IPC has different elements. You should move against the FIR in HC and get it quashed in case the FIR doesn’t contain the correct facts. Kindly provide me further details to assist you better
