Regarding issue of passport and Job offer

17-Sep-2023 (In Criminal Law)
In 2013, an FIR was filed against me involving 4 individuals with under IPC 307. Later I have been cleared from charges in the police chargesheet and case in court is now against for remaining 3 persons. The case is currently in the process of being heard at District and Session Judge and the framing of charges has been completed in 2016. The current stage of the case is the presentation of evidence. Would that case will be consider as pending case against me for passport/Job applications?

No...if you are acquitted from the charges by the court then you should not write it as a pending case. Because it might create problems for you in the future. You are required to obtain a PCC from the police and also an order sheet from the court to prove that you are finally not in the case. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

If you have been cleared of the case then there must be a court order for that. i. case you have the court order the. it is not a pending case against you. in case you do not have the court order then it is considered as the pending case against you for passport application. However, I will be able to guide you properly if we can get the details of the case

We would like to examine the court orders after inspecting the judicial file to tender our considered opinion on your query. If you have the details of the case and all orders, you may get it legally examined from a lawyer.

if your name has been removed by police from chargesheet it means that your name is cleared and you are no longer an accused in the matter. therefore the case would not impact any job application or passport etc. should you have any questions please feel free to contact me
