What can be done if a resident of housing society purposefully misbehaves and causes nuisance to certain people due to his personal conflicts? What sought of legal action can be taken?

Well, you can lodge a Complaint about that Society Member in the Society Meeting and get that Complaint recorded in the minutes of the meeting and make sure to include that complaint as one the agendas for discussion and voting.
