Regarding dismissed from the case

One of my friend was wrongfully prosecuted but now the case is dismissed from the court.if someone ask during job interviews have you ever been prosecuted in any court of law what to answer?

Dear Sir, The dismissal of case and if no appeal is preferred against such order it will be deemed that your friend is free from all criminal charges. He can mention that they was no criminal case against him because the recruiting authorities are not so expert to differentiate between registering a case and thereafter end of case by way of dismissal or acquittal.
