Recieved notice unde CRPC 174 from police station. Will it impact job?

I got hand written notice from police for statement record at police station (under crpc 174) stating that I bought a land from a person (which my father bought in my name). He ate poision after 5 months of land deal. They called me for statement recording but I haven't gone. Now in my govt job joining form they are asking question 1) Is any case or enquiry pending against you in any court of law(including civil litigation) or any authority,e.g.,departmental proceedings etc? What to fill here?

You are making a big mistake by not joining the investigation. You may get arrested for that and then it will undoubtedly affect your government service. You have to be practical and tactical at the same time. You may consult me in this regard.
