Question Related to electricity theft

Sir My name is Mahendra. He is born and raised in Mumbai & lives with is in Mumbai
During ,2018 or something there was a construction of house in my native place i.e Kura block sakaldiha district Chandauli Uttar Pradesh We didn't rob or anything electricity but some villagers complained that we robbed electricity .Now the FIR is registered in my father name Mahendra and police and electricity department is demanding 1,60,000/- as penalty Is there any thing that we can do to avoid some penalty As I earlier said the my father was not present at the place and allm his identity proof is registered in Mumbai address and the property belongs to my papa grandfather plz can you suggest that we should fight the case in court to proof that father does not live in Uttar Pradesh so on basis the FIR is registered

challenge the FIR In allahabad HC and seek stay from arrest. plead the defence of alibi. there's great probability of the matter transferring the matter to the mediation centre and the matter being settled for a lot lesser amount

if there is any property name of your father on which any electricity connection is existing . important to state that if electricity department found any illegal connection upon the house the case of electricity theft can easily be filed . it is advisable that have to get bail of your father from the district court where the property is situated aur otherwise you can contact you can file a writ before Allahabad High Court for quashing of criminal case .
