Quashing of FIR which is pending since 2018

The case number is CC 28519/2018 Fir is 42/ 2018
Registered at madivala police station Bengaluru
The quashing has been filed in the year 2018 and still it's not been quashed.
Will this ever get quashed or will the quashing get rejected and trial gets started? How long will this case take to get resolved.
My brother is already 36 years old and we are unable to get him married because of the fake case registered against him by his ex girlfriend. we are scared to get him married because of this.
