Is there a possibility of quashing an Criminal appeal pending before sessions court? The Appeal is against acquittal by Lower Court(JMFC).

Yes, you can file a petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C in High Court to quash the charges if the charges are false, misconceived and impugned.

Since the matter is appeal against acquittal by lower court, quashing of criminal appeal is not possible , unless and until the appeal has been filed beyond limitation period .
Appeal is also quashable if new charges are being put up in appeal.
