Quashing of a Frivolous FIR against me & my wife

A frivolous FIR was done to harass me & my wife by a builder entity with whom I used to do business. Chargesheet has been filled but i want to get it quashed as i have to apply for Canada work permit

if the dispute is primarily civil in nature, it can be used to get the fir quashed. for quashing of the fir, the contents of the chargesheet filed before the court have to be perused minutely so as to find anything which shows that the chargesheet ought not to have been filed.

Quashing of FIR can be done only by the High Court. And it can be filed at any point of time. The certified true copy of all the documents will be required like copy of the FIR, Chargesheet, both parties Aadhaar Card, etc. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

We can move to the high court for the same for which firstly i would request you to kindly send me the chargesheet and answer few of my questions in regards to the said FIR so that i can give your clear answer as to the procedure and how to go about it

Quashing can be done on merits or on the basis of compromise. On merits it’s only possible if you have conclusive evidences in your defence. Kindly b in touch to understand the legalities in this matter! Thanks

Yours being a commercial dispute, FIR can be quashed by High Court on merits. It would be a time consuming process and the chances of success can only be ascertained after analyzing the relevant documents.
