The quashing of FIR normally gets over in 2-4 hearings. It depends on many things which may delay the proceedings. And if your case is genuine and no one has objections and is mutually settled then it will come up within one week time after filing of the quashing petition. it depends on the nature of the case and nature of quashing case. if case if of heinous nature it will take more time than the case of lesser degree of criminality. moreover if the quashing with the consent of the complainant it will be quashed more easily and quickly then otherwise.
