A preponement application, also known as an early hearing application, is a formal request made to a court to advance a scheduled hearing date. Though not specifically outlined in the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), such applications are permitted based on judicial discretion. In criminal cases, a party may file this request citing genuine and urgent reasons, such as extraordinary circumstances or potential harm caused by delay. The court will assess the urgency and merits of the application before deciding whether to allow the preponement.

Yes you can file application for prepone or application for early hearing and the persecution will file objections to this application and then court will fix the case early.or simply you can ask your counsel to file exemption application on the date of hearing

Though in Criminal proceedings there is no provision of preponement. Still in case you want you can try moving an application seeking preponement or date due to these reasons and the Court can show indulgence but if the Court is hyper techincal then the date might not be chnaged.

Surely we can get case preponment by filling application for the same with answer copy to Proseqution. There's no bar as such for such preponment. Reason seems to be genuine and plausible for the desired preponment.
