Hello Kindly let me know What points should be included in the prayers of Protest Petition ?

A protest petition is treated like a private complaint. you have to include the grounds elaborately to satisfy the court. In order to draft the petition and it's prayer I need to know the case in detail and accordingly will be able to help you.

The Protest petition has not been defined in the Code. It is not even referred to anywhere in the Code. It is a normal practice, which has given recognition to Protest Petition and originate upon filing of cancellation report by the investigating agency under section 173 of code. It is, in fact, objection filed against the Final Report. It may have many prayers or any prayer including - (i) to reject Final Report and summon the accused under Section 190 (1) (b) of the Code, or to order for further investigation or to treat protest petition as a complaint.
