The sections mentioned in the FIR must have been bailable and the police must have inserted the lighter sections like 323/341. You must have told the police that it was attempt to murder. This can always be said when you receive the summons to appear before the court. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

You may approach to the higher police office viz SP or Dy. SP and brought the facts to their notice. In case no action being done you can directly file a case in the court of a competent jurisdiction. However, it is advisable to consult an Advocate/ Legal Aid Services before approaching the court in order to present your case appropriately.
