Police requesting to attend Court
12-Jan-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Police requesting to attend court of a criminal case expired in my earlier hospital(private organization) ,I was working. As police seized the medical documents during my tenure in the organization and I produced the same with my sign. Now being a govt. officer is it mandatory to attend the same without the involvement from the hospital being the hospital documents? I am having least knowledge about the case 2 to 3 years earlier. What would be the safe side on the part or what can be communicated to the police requesting the same?
You first need to acquire the case status from police, ask for case number, date and details, see if police gives you the record, they will tell you to go to court, so mandatory ask them court case number, date of complaint, sections involved, status, last hearing date, in which judges court, then check court records, visit a lawyer for guidance
do you sure that the criminal case is over if you were the accused of that case and if the case is close then you must have a copy of FRT
if the case is still alive then you have to attend and if you r govrt.officer but the gravity of the case will decide for special cause depends now what nature of the is it summon case or warrant case or session case I don't know
