Police arrested my friend under 420 for keeping phone in classic unkno
21-Mar-2023 (In Criminal Law)
My friend appeared for govt job exam but by mistake he forgets to keep phone outside since it was in his pocket that too in switch off mode
So invigilator caught him then he abused and even Slapped him multiple times then my friend said sir I forgot to keep phone outside its in switch off mode then invigilator git angry and clalled police
Police arrested him on charges of 420 n other sections but 420 says property inducement so he should be booked against IPC 417
so will court raie action against Police men who arrested him by charging wrong IPC
A young boy is charged with 420 punishment of 7 yrs just beacuse he forgets to keep phone outside that too in switch off mode he wasn't carrying any Bluetooth device or headphone
What a shame
His Mom is in deep shock after hearing his arrest

this is a very misfortunate incident that happened with your friend but this is not the first case of such a thing happening. it should not be difficult in getting bail since the accused is a young boy and was appearing for an exam.
