POCSO related CASE - puruse or not pursue- is it effective /fast.

Mumbai Reputed school sent daughter on school trip through a tour co- they were harassed in amritsar by group of drunk men at night in the next room in hotel, who were trying to barge in. parents were told the next day, after the tour reps checked out of the hotel and arrived at a new city. the men were drunk and tried to enter minor girls room through the night- phones were removed from room by tour cos instructions. Avoiding IPC, how effective is it to apply POCSO against the grown men?

If those Drunk Men have physically harrassed minor girls, then, definitely POCSO can be applied against them. However, if they have merely tried to barge in, but, could not become successful, then, mere Criminal Trespassing Section cab be applied. However, if they have captured any photographs of such minor girls anonymously via Spy Cameras, then, Sections of Sexual Harrasment and Sec 354 of IPC, i.e, Outraging the modesty of Women and some Non Bailable and Cognizable sections from IT Act can be applied
