Please advice for my query based on the POSCO case where i am a witnes


10-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
My parents have filed a case against the suspect when i was studying 10th under section 363 IPC. Now I’m being called to the ladies court for the trail. Since it’s been 10 years now, i have moved to another city just started my career and planning to start my Phd studies. I want to close this case. How is it possible. Please advice

At the time of occurrence of the crime you were a minor. And the offence committed was a criminal offence against the society. It is not a private matter anymore. If the prosecution fails to prove the case then it will be over.
