Hi there, firstly you need to understand that if an offence is committed then there's no need to think about the image as maintaining the image will cost you your mental peace. However, in your case you need to provide more facts to assess the gravity of the offence. It's advisable to contact me and provide more details considering the sensitive nature of the issue.

Women can seek complete anonymity in cases of sexual abuse and exploitations. Police would not harm or disclose your identity. So you can proceed without any fear. For better discussion feel free to connect. Thanks

No, police cannot disclose your identity if you decide to file case under section 69 of BNS, 2023. But before filing the case against the person who established physical relationship on pretext of marriage make sure that the promise to marriage was before the sex and your relationship has not been too long , read the judgement of Pramod Suryabhai Pawar given by Justice Chandrachud in 2019. Even when the man had tried to convince his parents or tried earnestly that relationship with you turnout into marriage but somehow fails in executing it, even then offence under 69 of BNS is not made out. Before filing criminal case make sure that ingredients of offence is made out otherwise whole exercise of filing the case would turn futile
