what happens to a person's assets/property/money/bank accounts when he/she is going to prison, that is not a financial crime

if thr crime is not financial, his account if not seized, he can use the same after release of prison. or from the court he may take permission for using assets in the bank accout to use his family or if anyone is joint account holder may use the account
