Q: Rude behavior of Mother In law and unsupportive spouse
After marriage, my Mother In Law started picking fights cursing me and my parents and, comparing me to their daughter. My husband never backs me and starts arguments influenced by his mother. I experienced depression and suicidal thoughts. I resorted to head-banging against the wall during a major fight. My in-laws accuse me of being mentally ill. I've been asking my husband to move to a separate home for my child's sake, but he refuses. Can I go to court if my husband refuses to stay with me ?
Advocate Jagrati Chinchale answered
if your husband is not ready for separate residence, then there is no option to you. as per your query, your case is coming under the preview of domestic violence of mental cruelty, so you may file application under the provisions of domestic violence, but for certain orders you required proper evidence to get orders from the Honble Court
