You can go for quashing of FIR so that your name is completely eliminated from the case. Pendency of the case better be informed to the employer else adverse action could be taken against you whenever it is discovered in the Police verification.

There is no need as such to disclose about the pending Court-Case against you & your family. Start working & if they do background-check/verification, in that, if the Employer comes to know about your pending-case, then you can take a Defence that as you have not considered it such a big deal to disclose if not the case is of grievous nature like Rape, Murder, Cheating, Kidnapping, Extortion. If such grave charges would have been there on you, then obviously, you would not have disclosed it, as such, as per my perception, when the serious charges are not upon you, just in anger, you would have fought with someone, then why to necessarily disclose it before Employer after getting selected or at the time of selection, as by doing that, you'll be dismissed which is 80 to 90 percent true, as I have seen the mindset of HRs & Employers, when it comes to selecting Employees.
