I recently filed a FIR under 420 against real restate developer who is delaying possesion for un necsaaary reasons already 10-15 FIR are lodged 420 against him . In some of cases he is on bail . Her wife is Director of company he is assistant director of company all the agreement he done with buyer How can I impound his and her wife passport since they are inlvoved in 420 case in around 4 crore and more ? He and wife can ran off from india he also bankrupt person...
You are required to move to the court and constantly press for your claim. You can immediately ask for impound of passport and attachment of assets.
Court will definitely protect your interest. Also the Supreme Court held the same in few recent judgment.

since you have Already launched the FIR therefore the investigation stage has come been commenced. Now for impounding of the passport that can be done after the trial begins. An application for the same Has to be made before the magistrate seeking the relief of impounding of passport of the accused till the time the matter is disposed off.
