From which bank you get car loan? This is totally unfair practice by the bank.. You can complaint against it on rbi portel to the Ombudsman.. It will resolve your issue.. Bank has no right to refuse your noc letter

If you have paid the full amount for your car loan and all the EMIs have been cleared, but the loan company is denying you the NOC because of another car of the guarantor, then you can take the following legal steps: 1. Review the Loan Agreement - Review your loan agreement and check if there are any clauses in the agreement that might enable the loan company to hold the NOC until the guarantor pays their dues. 2. Serve a Legal Notice - In case there is no clause that justifies the loan company's denial of the NOC, you can serve a legal notice to the loan company demanding the release of the NOC. Make sure that the legal notice highlights your loan agreement's specific clauses regarding the release of the NOC. 3. File a Consumer Complaint - If you do not receive a response from the loan company or are not satisfied with the response, you can file a consumer complaint against the loan company. You can file the complaint in the District Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, 4. Approach the Ombudsman - You can also approach the Ombudsman of the respective bank or NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) under whose jurisdiction the bank or NBFC falls. However, it is advisable to analyze whether approaching the Ombudsman is advisable since the Ombudsman office might take a longer time to resolve than a legal court. Always keep your loan statements, receipts, and emails/letters exchanged between you and the loan company for future reference.
