Paid back the money, but he is threatening to file a case

Sir my name is . i took money to open my clinic from a local guy in the market with 10% intrest rate per month no documentation was made neither from my side nor from his side. now i returned more than the double0 amount that he has given to me in just one year.when i am not able to pay his dues he start harashing me so i gave him all maschinary along with my clinic to him. and started a job in different city . now he is harassing me that he will initiate criminal proceding against me u/ s 420 that i took money from him and never returned it back to him. please help sir i am in depression . what can be done to stop him. please remember he is not having any documentry proof against me and i also dont have any documentry proof that i returned his money. all things are verbel.
First of all file an application to SSP of your city from where you belongs along with a caveat.
After that if you have any bank transactions kindly provide me those by which we can use them as evidence. And kindly explain the the facts .

In this case go and file FIR near local police station that he is harasing you.
Without any legal documents he can't file 420 case.. As there is no judiacial stamp paper work done by you both.. So dont b afraid.. if he his harrasing you just go and lodge FIR against him...

You have not given complete details. Was the money given/returned in cash or through account? In both cases you have nothing to worry. You can file a police report against him stating the facts of the matter. If the police does not record your report, you can revert and inquire subsequent procedure for approaching Magistrate. Law will take its course and he will bear the consequences of his actions. Try to record his threats.
