If the complaint or FIR does not have any merit to frame charges of attempt to murder, then you can approach the high court u/s 482 of cr.p.c and get your petition quashed. Please note in order to get your petition quashed, the FIR,Complaint should be general, omnibus and out of pure vendetta and these should be apparent in face of record.
