20-Nov-2024 (In Criminal Law)
Long time ago, all courts issue summons, warrant and proclaimed offender status without police investigation, evidence or enquiry. Complainants had freedom to harass defendants who living outside jurisdiction. After 2005 change in law, people now abusing 'missing person' status to seek vengeance against defendants living outside jurisdiction. If court issue 'missing person' status again you, how can you void 'missing person status' without court application because you outside jurisdiction?

Jurisdiction relation to criminal matters has there nodal points Pace of of crime Place of residence of Complainant Place of residence of accused from the query posted it so seems you are interested to understand jurisdiction related to accused. let the accused go anywhere even abroad courts jurisdiction to call the accused to court is not limited. courts issues summon only after being satisfied that there are sufficient material on record to issue summons avoiding such summons and not responding is not advisable ask your counsel to represent you
